Preferable to taking an evening walk in downtown BRLA.

There were Clemson fans and families walking back from the stadium and they were by Pastimes. Do opposing fans get hotels downtown? They looked miserable and scared walking back at midnight to downtown

Walking from LSU’s campus down Nicholson to downtown late at night? And they looked scared? That walk in that situation is borderline suicidal, you’d have to be retarded to not be scared making that walk

I agree. I guess they just don’t know. One family was a husband and wife with two pre teen kids.

I was in town last week and surprised to see the scaffolding around the capital. I can’t tell if it’s still there in that photo.

It’s been needing a good pressure washing.

Photo looks great but BR is a crime ridden cess pool.

After the game I drove up government and between the interstate and Park Boulevard there was a lot more culture than I was expecting. The smell of weed was so strong my eyes were watering. I won't take that route again. I had 4 teenagers in the SUV with me and there were so many people in the street. I was very uncomfortable to say the least. There was a City Police Car in the median with the lights flashing. How can we allow this weed usage in open public like this?

After staying in Greenville last year, I can imagine them assuming that being within walking distance from downtown to campus in the state capital just has to be safe, scenic, and peaceful. Right?

Oh my the spirit of Louisiana

I did it a dozen times between 2015-2022 when I lived downtown. You end up walking just as fast as the gameday traffic and there are people everywhere. I don't understand how some of you have the balls to leave your own homes sometimes.
