Why the love for Georgia? Weaker schedule? 2 years ago, they were destroyed by Auburn. They got a rematch and beat a banged up Auburn team. They beat a pitiful defensive team in Oklahoma. Were destroyed by LSU last season. Lost a close one to Bama. Lost to Texas. I don’t see it with them.

Stop with the stupidity. UGA is for real.

That said I hope we stomp their arse in the SEC title game.

While I agree with about where we’re at, FPI is pretty broken. A lot of it has to do with returning coach staff, returning production and recruiting classes. For example look at Ohio State. They took a smaller recruiting class which affected their class ranking and FPI and lost their head coach. Clearly they’re better than 13.

Recruiting? yes.

Coaching? ROFLMFAO

Kirby Smart is one of the worst coaches in the SEC. he’s just terrible. He makes terrible decisions and panicks when Georgia gets behind.

9 SEC teams in top 18!

Our middle of the road Conference teams are better than the Champs of some other conferences. Truth

I'm more curious about Michigan. They got completely boat raced by Ohio State and they're at 5?

They get all the hype because they run through the east jv league and then get hammered by a west team every year. Most overt team for the last decade and a half easily....even more so than Notre Dame.

“Kirby Smart is one of the worst coaches in the SEC. he’s just terrible. He makes terrible decisions and panicks when Georgia gets behind.”

Kirby Smart
3 years at UGA: 32-10 record 76.2%, 18-6 in SEC play 75%
2 SEC Eastern division titles
1 SEC championship
1 national title game appearances
1 NCAA playoff appearance
1 Rose Bowl victory (a playoff win)
1 Sugar Bowl appearance
SEC coach of the year winner 2017

And all of that in 3 seasons at a program that hadn’t played for a national title in 39 years.
If you think Kirby Smart is the worst coach in the SEC you must really hate ED Orgeron and believe he’s the worst coach to ever live.

The SEC East had a better overall record and much better conference record than the West last season. They had three 10+ win teams to the West’s 2 and their worst team was 5-7 compared to the West’s 2-10.

SEC Division overall records
East: 57-34
West: 56-35

Conference record
East: 30-26
West: 26-30

The new OC Josh Gattis is a great fit for the talent on their offense. Hate to say it, but Michigan should be tough.

(Spread/RPO guy from Bama last season)

Fields's is still a big question mark at QB (at rival Ohio State). Can he throw with that lingering hand injury? He couldn't at the Spring game. The QB room is kinda empty behind Fields.
