The back side guard and tackle both false pulled. Chaisson crashed down. The safety was on the hash. He wasn’t 7-1. QB pulled it. No one was there. Not sure who’s responsibility it was? I’m sure they will get that fixed. Good play call on that one. For starters, I don’t like the free on the hash. I’d prefer him 7-1 off the tackle.

He’s not getting much help from the coaching staff. He’s playing a combo coverage backed 7 yards off the LOS. When both backers blitz, the slant will be wide open every play. We’re actually playing a lot of man with this concept. We press the number one WR with the CB. We’re 7 yards off number 2 and 10 yards off number 3. We fixed it the 2nd half.

It’s harder for the lineman to get a good push out of a 2 point stance than a 3 point stance. They will get better at it. It’s going to take some time. This is the main issue. Not really having a true run blocking tightend makes it difficult as well. I don’t think we will see too much change.

We need more help in the secondary. Guys like Queen need to stay in the box instead of playing Strong Safety 7 yards deep in Cover 3. A slot corner would help. Hopefully Raydarius Jones can get some time this week. We need another safety like Hampton with some range. I’m not going to single any players out, but some of the guys struggle in coverage in the secondary. I consider Queen a linebacker. Playing on the number 2 WR in zone coverage isn’t his forte.

Defense- Raydarius Jones, Hampton, and Flott. We need help in the secondary. We need another slot corner and safety. McCallum at linebacker. Evans on DL.
Offense- Rosenthal, Bradford, Emery, Davis-Price, Curry, Lee, and Palmer. I’d like to see Brennan as well.

I actually liked the Jet sweeps. He had some good concepts behind it. He still sucked as an offensive coordinator and deserved to be fired. Canada was a cancer and has been every place he has coached at. Look at his resume and lengths of his stays.

Dude! Oklahoma was crap that season! They lost 38-31 to IOWA STATE! Georgia’s best win was a close LOSS to Bama. Georgia is the new media darlings. They get destroyed by LSU, lose a close game to Bama, and then proceed to get beat by a Texas team with ZERO defense

Why the love for Georgia? Weaker schedule? 2 years ago, they were destroyed by Auburn. They got a rematch and beat a banged up Auburn team. They beat a pitiful defensive team in Oklahoma. Were destroyed by LSU last season. Lost a close one to Bama. Lost to Texas. I don’t see it with them.

I have a cap question. I agree. Most of us don’t want Love at that contract and length. What would we have to give up to get him? Do we have to send out 30 million to take on 30 million? If it’s a guy with 15, do we have to send them 15?

Shaq was traded from the Lakers to the Heat in July. A 5 team trade the next season netted the Heat Antoine Walker, Jason Williams, and James Posey. Personally, I don’t see the rush to trade AD. Find a team or teams willing to work a 3,4, or 5 team trade. In a 2 way trade, the Pelicans can tell a team like Boston what players they want on their team. I don’t see the Pels winning any trade currently. I think a 3rd team is almost necessary.

What about his humiliating loss to a rotten UAB team? You’re being negative, and it doesn’t help. Clemson wanted to fire Dabo. The LSU fan base that posts on this board is ridiculous. Coach O and the Tigers have 95 percent support from the fans. It’s the 5 percent that doesn’t know when to shut up. That’s the ONLY reason Surtain didn’t come to LSU. That’s a fact! Recruits read this board. Y’all arent helping.
