QB is so dependent on fit. If he goes to a decent organization with a good OC and some good WRs and offensive line that can allow him to sit for a year then he will be great. If he goes to the NY Giants or Chicago Bears it'll be tough

He's a perfect fit for the NFL as it is today.

Ill be shocked if he makes it past the first 10 picks.

He will be a day 1 starter and be just as good as Burrow.

JD’s value is only getting higher. Josh Dobbs is killing New Orleans today and a lot is due to his legs. Vikings coach knows those plays don’t happen if Cousins is in the game. Mobility in the NFL is starting to matter more than ever.

I felt he was better than cj Stroud , and Stroud is doing well. With the right team Jayden can be successful.

I think a lot of it depends on which team drafts him, who’s coaching & whether the situation is set up to help him succeed.

He’s better than Lamar was. The only thing maybe holding him back will be his size, but he’s got time to bulk up a bit.

Lamar Jackson is only 5 lbs heavier than Jayden.

Jayden is 2" taller at 6'4"

ETA: Stroud and Daniels are basically the same build

Burrow used to say that too. Burrow knows how to slide now.

When the moneys talkin’ the BS will be walkin’. I expect JD5 will be sliding just like Joey.

This is going to be a really interesting thing to watch. I think the nfl continues to evolve just like college football has.

If he can bulk up about 20-30 lbs, he's gonna be an issue in the league.

I think he might have to be more careful running or risk serious injury

nobody on this message board knows how his career will play out. everybody has an opinion but it doesn't mean they will be right. Look at Bryce Young, Heisman trophy winner. first pick in the draft and he looks like crap. I bet the front office of the Panthers are wishing that they would have had a better opinion of CJ Stroud now!.

Reminds me a lot of RG III in terms of Body build, size, speed, scrambling ability, became a good passer, and plays with an infectious enthusiasm. Unlike RG III, Will need to avoid hits in the NFL if that’s possible.

Lots of very smart football people expected failure in the NFL for Jalen Hurts, who turned in a great year coming in 2nd in the Heisman to Joey B.

JD is very similar to the stats of Hurts, although Hurts had a lot more rushing yards and rushing TDs.

If JD has an NFL career like Hurts is having, he'll do just fine.

I just listened to Deuce McCallister moan and groan in the Saints post game that the Saints could not contain Dobbs and kept taking the wrong angles on him... The discussion kinda turned to how would the NFL keep up with these young mobile QBs.

Sounded like some post games I have listened to regarding Daniels at LSU

He’s got a chance. He’s not a dude that can turn an organization around like burrow did. And part of burrows success is bc they landed Chase. JD needs to be a later first round pick and land somewhere with weapons. I think if he ends up somewhere with legit playmakers he has a chance to be a better Lamar or deshaun. It won’t happen, but I’d absolutely love to see him in Miami’s offense.

The biggest question mark he has left is how well he does in cold weather. He had one cold weather game here (last year) and was pretty bad. There really isn't a game left that is expected to be cold, but you play several every year in the pros no matter where your home team is.
