No, tard, it was clearly related to LSU coaching spans only.

frick off, you stupid piece of shite.
Ad hominem attacks only reflect your shallowness.
The body of the post clearly supported the title and crated no premise other than their respective tenures at LSU.

If you ever mention Ed Orgeron and Nick Saban in the same sentence again, you run the risk of being struck by lightning.

Nick Saban lost to ULM during his first full year at Alabama!!!!!
I wouldn't hire him for a grade school football team.

If that is your approach. Mine simply stated two facts which were remarkably similar. Parse it all you want

Technically true. You just said Ed was Orgeron is Nick Saban 2.0
Definition of 2.0 per Merriam-Webster
used postpositively to describe a new and improved version or example of something or someone
So your thread title indicates that O is an improved version of Saban.
quote:
I simply noted the two coaches have virtually identical records as LSU coaches
This does not equal “improved”
So maybe change your thread title to “Ed Orgeron and Nick Saban Have Virtually Identical Records As LSU Coaches”
And leave it at that.

When LSU beats State and Auburn Orgeron will be 49-15 in his first 64 games while Saban was 48-16 in his 64 game tenure at LSU. . Lets wait a couple of weeks and see whether it is improved.

Fair enough.
But until that happens

Orgeron 47-15 .758
Saban 48-16 .750

Nope. Sorry pal. You've harped on nothing but near identical records for this whole thread, you don't get to change your parameters to winning pct. now. If you get to change then you have to also accept the parameters others were using in this thread such as state of the program when both coaches came on board.

I didn't create this parameter. You fixated on the improved angle , and .758 beats .750.

No that was you when you kept just being fixated on the two having similar records ITT.

I'm not the one who started a thread using 2.0 to describe someone and then doubled down on it up the page saying the thread title clearly supported the body of the post.

True. But again- a different parameter from what you've been using all thread.

I started the thread merely to show how remarkably similar Orgeron's record at LSU is at this time which is the same number of games Saban coached when he was the Tigers coach. My intent was not to state 2.0 to reflect it was an improvement. While you made this picayune point you also inadvertently established that my 2.0 assertion was correct as Orgeron has a higher winning percentage at LSU than did Saban. You should have quit when you were behind.

Feels like precisely the same Coach.
Case in point 1, ball placement on wrong 45yd line last Sat.
2, the quest for “Joe Brady’s” offense.
Two peas in a pod really

For winning percentage to be considered an improvement the two subjects would at least have had to coach the same amount of games, no?

Absolutely absurd to say.
i mean he is the head coach at Alabama which is one of the best football teams in the country, right?
