I should've seen the writing on the wall that I guess so many others saw. The loss to Troy in 2017, the infighting with Canada around players, the rah rah rowdy tough guy act, all of it. It's painfully obvious now that Ed is a spin doctor. He clearly shouldn't be a head football coach at a program with over $100m per year in revenue. The simple fact that we're having to rely on first year coordinators on both sides of the ball is a huge indicator that there are major issues. LSU shouldn't be the place where OC's/DC's go to break out. This should be a destination job for coordinators. It's obvious now that Ed had very little to do with the 2019 success. I'm really wondering if we beat Central Michigan.

The facto there’s pictures of him on the Internet laying in bed with a woman, it’s pretty telling on its own.

There is going to be loss of staff/coordinators when you win, that’s a cost of success. But that is when the CEO back fills with equally competent managers/coaches. See Bama, Saban has done an excellent job with this along with “the process” aka paying attention to every detail.

He's the used car salesman of college football head coaches.

He’s just another Louisiana politician in an LSU track suit

And that's a pretty damning label.

Yeah this and shite like him showing up at peoples’ camps wanting to fight over shite talking and calling out UCLA fans for their “sissy blue” shirts should tell you all you need to know.

And I was an O supporter until this year. We just need to cut our losses and move on

His one-yard field goal attempt against Notre Dame in a meaningless bowl game should have been a warning sign early in the process.

He didn’t fool me in 2016 and I was flabbergasted at the people celebrating his hire. Then 2019 came around and I ate crow. Admitted I was way wrong. Plot twist: I was right all along.

Not sure what’s worse though. O or LSU administration. The woke mentality, the totally tone deaf actions toward the alumni, fans and the populace of our state. O has screwed up, no doubt but is it any worse than the overall situation at our university. Is O a distraction and more important than the state of the university itself?

Yeah I caught a lot of shite over my username in 2019, but I took it in stride because that season was so amazing.

Feel like I’m due restitution now.

The 2019 season says more about the potential of the LSU program than the potential of Orgeron. We can recover from this but my gosh, our decision makers don’t need to be fooled by a big talking narcissist with a binder any more.

This is one thing I can say I saw coming and my post history shows proof.

I always knew the “let him recruit and hire good coordinators” plan was destined for failure. If you win, people will always poach your coordinators and with him being weak in X and O he would eventually miss with hires.

I was duped too, bought in some times.. I’ve been bipolar on it over the years…that he was different and never given a real chance…. But I’ve been consistent on one thing is that he is not a game day coach… have never seen a head coach have no input, he has never looked at a game day play card or expressed his opinion on anything on game day because he does not speak to coaches on the mic or the sideline. I coach more than him from the north end zone

I’m so glad the rant is finally coming back to their senses about Orgeron. It was sickening watching so many here pretend he was a top five coach in the country after 2019. A few of us here knew this is who he really is but nobody wanted to hear it

It was clear as day at the time 2019 was not who he was as a coach and was a perfect storm with an all time great QB

Everyone here talks about how dumb the sissy blue shirt comment was but it’s really no different than the Roll Tide what FU after Bama that everyone here loved because we were winning

You're spot on here. I think the head set is just a prop.

What happened to “we’re going to get the best coordinators”. That didn’t age well for him. Like most other things. I was fooled too.
