The A/C in both locker rooms should have been turned off

Big question is why didn't Texas tell O.

It's been a while since LSU has visited a team with locker room accommodations you'd find at Grambling State.

Classless move by UT.

Makes LSU’s win even more impressive. Also explains why the defense was so gassed.

frick Texas. What a petty, petty, childish group of assholes they have in that athletic department. I hope we beat them 40-3 next year.

Y’all realize if LSU had pulled this shite what the national narrative would be?

This would a huge story all over yahoo and espn just trashing us.

Not sure if anyone will care much about Texas doing this. I hope I’m wrong.

This is surprising at this level and given the player safety time of today.

When I first saw the no A/C thing I thought they had specifically cut it off for LSU. Makes it not quite as bad if every visiting team doesn't have A/C. Still bush league not to have A/C in the locker room though.

You don’t think it wasn’t resolved on purpose? Come on. You know better than that.

Crazy right? La Tech did not have AC either. Shame on the University of Texas.

Put in some TV with LSU highlights from this game playing on a constant loop

That’s just irresponsible and dangerous as hell. The bathrooms in the stadium weren’t cooled and it was almost unbearable. I can’t imagine playing in that heat and having no ac in locker room during half time.

This should be written into future contracts. If it's off in the visitor's, it gets cut off in the home teams.

And if nothing else, 3-4 pallets of ice left overnight would refrigerate that motherfricker.

That’s reprehensible and frankly unacceptable. They need to be called out by ncaa or at least the media

Not to be over dramatic about it, but I wonder what Texas would do if they pulled that shite and one of those kids dropped to heat stroke at halftime?

For those who cannot seem to believe there was no AC, here is The Advocate article quoting O on the situation.

LINK

Surely there is more to this story. Why wasn't the AC working? Is there just no AC ever or was it broken or was it turned off intentionally?

Why didn't TX warn LSU about the AC issue? If LSU hadn't called LA Tech, they'd have never known and wouldn't have brought the blowers to help out.

It would seem to me that Woodward would be looking into this issue before and after the game.

It's not the end of the world, but I'm curious as to why there was no AC and no warning of no AC. Are the UT folks that ridiculous?

I'm not in favor of an eye for eye for everything, but I think they deserve the same amount of tickets they gave to LSU with a similar location. I wouldn't put their band up top or their cheerleaders in a bad location, but I'm good with the tickets. I don't want to stoop as low as it appears TX did.

Actually, maybe we should freeze their locker room out next year. Let them walk into 50° locker room and cramp like hell then have to hit the hot field again after.
