DJ LeMahieu was one of the best all-round players but Crews is even better.

Especially during SEC play it’s one thing to do it preconference play it’s another thing to do it in the 2nd week of conference play

I don’t think this is 100% accurate.

A lot of people are forgetting how good Albert Belle was.

I do think crews is the goat though.

LeMahieu was good. Damn good. But he wasn’t Dylan Crews at LSU. We’ll see how Crews pro career compares to DJ’s but there’s no college comparison.

He is phenomenal.

He needs some hardware to be the GOAT at LSU.

We are different than most when it comes to college baseball.

He'll get a lot of individual hardware and that's all that matters in terms of this specific discussion.

And Crews is different than everyone when it comes to LSU baseball.

I love me some DJ. But I don’t think he was the best all around player on his team. Wasn’t Mahtook on that ‘09 team? DJ had the better pro career but MM was a 5 tool player.

Yeah, he hit .316 while DJ hit .350. Mikie had a little bit better slugging, but DJ had the better OBP.

I'd take LSU DJ over LSU Mahtook not to say Mahtook wasn't awesome at LSU.

Mahtook was so smooth in center.

This thread tells me one thing. We have been spoiled rotten with talent.

I truly thought Mahtook was going to have a MLB career.
