I don't give a frick what LSU as a team did during his time here, he's the single best player this program has ever had.

Fans need to realize how lucky they are to get to watch him this season.

He’s an immediate MLB starter in a LSU uniform. Soak it in.

The dude started the weekend batting over 500 and has improved his average. You shouldn’t be able to do that in baseball.

There’s been so many that were truly great, and he’s definitely up there.

But every game he plays it gets harder and harder to deny that he very well may be the best in a program even this rich with history. He’s incredible at basically every aspect of the game.

Dr. Furniss would like a word.

In the 1998 season, Furniss batted .403 with 27 doubles, three triples, 28 home runs, 85 runs scored, and 76 RBIs.

1997: .378 with 17 home runs and 77 RBIs.

1996: .374 and hit 26 home runs with 103 RBIs

1995: .326
