We own State at their own stadium. It’s basically a for sure thing that we’re going to win when we go to play in Starkville, who apparently has the best college baseball atmosphere and the million dollar stadium

Yep atmosphere reminds me of the old box from what I’ve seen on tv. I’m bleed purple and gold but I will admit they have a great atmosphere at Dudu noble

It happened with joe Allevas crusade to corporatize every possible aspect of athletics and Maximize profits without considering the implication to driving away passionate fans and sanitizing the atmosphere.

Huh. The one game I've made this year was an awesome experience. Didn't really notice.

You ever consider that maybe our fans, or at least the ones on the rant, are just a bunch of cry baby bitches that don't know how to have anything nice so they just bitch about everything?

No because I regularly attend LSU sporting events and have for about 7 years now and even in that period there is a noticeable decline.

I’m not going to lie... that stadium and atmosphere, with everyone cooking and shite... looked like a good time. I don’t enjoy the atmosphere at the new box .. that’s just my opinion though.

I got to attend 2 of the games and sit in their Omaha Club. They really did do a magnificent job with the facility.

They’re making a bit of a stretch with that name

It happened when they refused to adapt to what the fans want. They need a berm or deck in the outfield like Ole Miss and State. It’s just become stale.

I bet they don't have a big tarp that was purchased at Wal-Mart as a Batter's Eye either. (This is totally unacceptable and season after season, nothing is done)

Seriously, all they needed to do at the OLD ALEX BOX was extend the grandstand all the way down both lines, put in more outfield seating and renovate/modernize the exterior. Too much history and memories to just demolish the entire thing.

The new Box is a poorly designed, stale and sanitized ad covered pos.

Bertman really screwed the pooch on this one. (Much like getting cheap and letting Saban walk away without putting up a fight)

Enjoyed the second and third game this weekend in the left field lounge. Great experience! Able to bring cold beers and liquor in the stadium as well as awesome food straight from the grill. Beats the lousy nachos at Alex Box. Best baseball atmosphere in the SEC in my opinion.
