Almost blew it in Tuscaloosa, SEC West was as weak as it’s been in years. No competition from the East at all with James Coley calling plays at UGA and Mullen at UF.
AMAZING AMAZING season, one for the books for sure. Top 5 team maybe of all time. But this won’t continue. Idk what part of history makes you think it would either.

Why would anyone still bring up Troy?

Why does people keep on acting like it’s LSU’s first rodeo? I’m seeing that point come back time and again.
We had a regression in the 2010 decade but the run we had from 2000 to 2009 was better than any of these schools put up in recent memory.

Whenever they start with this, they give away their immature age. Anybody over 30 remembers 2003 and 2007 well, and that part of history is a good indicator that LSU will remain relevant and compete for titles.
But time is certainly relative. When I started college at LSU in 2004, the 1992 Crimson Tide, 1996 Gators, and 1998 Volunteers teams all seemed like ancient history. That '92 team was the equivalent of '07 LSU to a current college freshman.
In essence, that guy while certainly an idiot, was likely prepubescent in the 2000s. He should ask his grandpa about that magical 1980 season.

EVERYONE KNOWS we have to rebuild a little in 2020 - no way to instantly replace this kind of offensive production - just Burrow and CEH (much less Brady).
We have to look hard at building an elite OL which will likely take until 2021 (but we're finally getting there).
