I hope he refuses to settle and drags asses through trials and subpoena after subpoena. Especially Sanctimonious Sankey. frick that a-hole.

I wonder if his agent contract includes lawsuit settlements by the players. Assume yes somehow.

Discovery will be a b*tch for SEC

Who is funding the attorneies for the players? Doubt it's the agent.

Ever heard of contingency?

Rosenhaus isn’t their trial attorney bub. Hes an agent

It will still somehow be labeled as LSU fighting the SEC even though LSU will not be involved at all.

The question you asked was who is funding the attorneys… I provided the likely answer.

Big upside for agents being able to tell clients to declare for the draft early or go try out for an NFL team and, if they don’t make the roster, just bounce back to college to make money there. Expands players’ options.
That’s ultimately what will happen SEC and Stankey’s feeling be damned. And it won’t be LSU driving it. It’ll be the players, their agents, and US antitrust law.

I have no problem with a player not making the NFL and returning to college for another year. That's not a big deal for college sports. It's players that wouldn't make a difference for playoff teams.

Don't really care anymore. We've still got "anonymous sources" slandering LSU and Louisiana with no reason.
I wish we'd open every closet and drag out every skeleton.

That discovery would uncover criminal conspiracy and collusion not to allow Wright and Harris to play.
All the league had to do was appeal the LA injunction, plead their case, wait it out and come back to the drawing table in January. But noooooooo idiots had to be all butthurt about it. No wonder a college degree doesn’t mean crap anymore. Look who’s running the places.

College sports are run by pointed headed academic types and mid-level lawyers. They are playing chess.
The SEC and Stankey could’ve just allowed this to be a one-year exception for the 2022 class and the belated 5x5 rule. Made a limited rule exception and not blown this out of proportion- especially for a Commissioner who didn’t even bother to read the rule apparently.
But no. They got their feelings hurt by Lane being Lane popping off at the mouth and generally defying authority as he does.
Now they will reap the whirlwind. Fine.

We will never know. All documents will end up sealed

If the attorneys feel they have a strong case they take it on for apiece of the settlement. Plaintiffs don't pay crap.

Hope they don’t settle out of court, drag Sankey and put his arse on the stand again…

SEC better pay it out if it’s and the other 15 team’s buckets.
