Maybe he had poor service and was dissatisfied with the waiter, and it showed in the tip. If so, I don’t blame him for leaving a small tip. Have to be more to it since he took time to draw on the tip portion of the paper.

He went to LSU and was popular, if he went to LSU and fans hated him (like Jefferson, Russell, etc) then they would react differently.
Simple enough if he thought service was that bad then it needs to be addressed. There may have been a reason and for him to leave $5 on a $120 bill is just pathetic.

Donte just retweeted a Meme about the dangers of a one sided story and folks should think about that and the low IQ of someone who would go public with such a tweet without even thinking about their employer and possible affect such a tweet may have on their business.

I’m friends with the waiter lmao they were talking the whole time dapping each other off and the waiter brought him something made special in the back that he wasn’t supposed to give to him how is that bad service? Kept refilling his drink and stuff

That's bad on his part. But if I owned that restaurant that waiter would be fired. They can't blast the customers on social media. That's retarded.

He is entitled to be disappointed. He is entitled to be pissed. He is entitled to confront Donte personally. He is not entitled to potentially hurt his EMPLOYER'S business by publishing the receipt and his commentary. I see this more as a former business owner and I would FIRE HIS arse the second I saw the post.

I would love to give a former LSU tiger the benefit of the doubt but the smiley face and his response on Twitter indicate to me that he knew what he was doing and well aware that the tip was unacceptable.

Just because Donte did something petty and wrong does not mean the server is not a douche for publishing a receipt of a customer. They can BOTH be wrong. In my opinion that guy that publishes a customer's receipt and POSSIBLE hurts the owner's business is a bigger DOUCHE.

Idk the smiley face could be interpreted as a genuine gesture with the idea that 5 dollars is a good tip better than 2, or none at all. From the perspective of someone who really has no idea, or he could just be a dick. who knows.
