None of us know what happened. Waiter could have been bad. Donte could be a cheap a-hole. No need to speculate. Id highly consider firing the waiter over that becoming public information though.

Also of note is that the DOUCHE who posted the credit card receipt violated the privacy policy of most card services and for that the owner of the restaurant could have his right to take that credit cart revoked.
Sure, it might have been a cheap move by DOnte but he did not put his owner's business at risk.

I am not Donte and I am like Steve Martin in My Blue Heaven when it comes to tipping. I think if he tipped five dollars it is a cheap move that does not represent what a gentleman does. But as a former owner of a business where public perception was important I was more disgusted by a DOUCHE publishing a credit card receipt of a customer REGARDLESS of why.

I am sure there are folks who think I am. However, the server's butthurt over a crappy tip does not give him the right to publish the receipt of a customer. It is the OWNER'S BUSINESS HE IS POTENTIALLY AFFECTING. I am not saying it will affect the business but things such as this tend to take on strange paths and it is not HIS decision to do such.
