If Shaq got the ball in the post the outside guy would double down on him the way they do to almost everyone in the post. If that's what you mean by double teamed, ok.
Usually opponents guarded him with one smaller player who kept him out of dunking range where he couldn't score.
Roberts had some touch. But like I said, he was lazy as hell.

I have said this (the elevation to blue blood status) about wade since the day he was hired the first time. its gonna happen. and wade says this experiment this year may not work, and I think it will work, but if it doesn't he already is #1 in the early recruiting rankings for next year.
so lets see if we can focus on the court and not who can be imagined to be a hypocrite for a spectacular gotcha.
