Out of the 8 years she's held office, 6 of those had Democrats in charge of the House and/or White House (DoJ). During all of that, the only time there has been a willing DoJ and Speaker has been since Trump took office in January 2025 and they've been focused on various other things (immigration, etc). Also, it takes time to build a case so it's very likely what we are seeing is just the beginning fruits of the investigation.
