So should basketball teams not cut down the net when they make it to the final four?

If they fell off the ladder and injured themselves frequently, then no. Jumping on top of each other is great, but there's a shite ton that can go wrong.

If Neon Leon would've jumped this high everytime a ball was at the wall, Mahtook would've never seen the field.

Sincerely,

Why don't you be the one to go into the locker room next time and tell the players no dogpile.....bring a camera with you, we'd like to see pics of the reactions.

when one of our best players gets injured, and can't go to the CWS, the practice will come to an end. it is too bad the coach won't put a stop to it before that happens.

The statue at Rosenblatt is NOT a dogpile. It is several players hoisting one player who holds his arm and index finger skyward. The sculptor, an Omaha native, said his inspiration for the statue was photos of Warren Morris being lifted by his team mates after the walkoff HR in 1996. The statue was a gift to the City of Omaha by the NCAA on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the CWS.

Not only do I say that The Dogpile is good to go, but, I also believe that the players should knee, kick, punch and gouge each other IN the dogpile !

Hell Yeah !!

If some little wussy says "I got hurt" I say "suck it up and drive on". Rendon was a little sissy yesterday . . . . if you are well enough to eat a burger and smile in the dugout, you're well enough to play, dawg.

The guys should dogpile on top of Pontiff, Haydell, Nicholson, and the other scrubs. That way you can still do it but not worry about someone important getting hurt..

I can not believe you would call players that don't start scrubs! That is uncalled for. They are every bit as important as the starters.

I would not only dogpile, but the other stuff too. That's what guys do, LadyBoy, they shove and punch each other in a moment of celebration.
They are not trying to hurt each other, Little Miss Mother of Pearl, they are celebrating.
That's why after a home run, they bash each other over the head! That's why the Ohio State kick returner got tackled from behind by his own teammate during the opening kick off of the Natl Championship game against Florida !

It's celebration, Sweet Pea !

Have you never played sports?

If you'd like, after LSU wins the WS, I'll punch you in the face for celebration ! I won't try to hurt you . . . it will be Celebration !

Word up, dawg !

You're covering for something, that is certain. I'd suggest that you were a latent homosexual, but you would just get offended for some ignorant reason and then post anti-gay sentiment. Regardless, you are either very young or covering up for something which you consider shameful.

Are dogpile injuries really that frequent? Everyone knows Mestepey getting hurt, but if we have dogpiled somewhere around 25 times (adding regional wins + SEC tourney wins + Supers + Omaha), is he the only injury? That doesn't sound too frequent.

Let 'em dogpile.
