La Joya de Habana for me.

No, it's not a Cuban.

He needs to learn how to clap like a man. I mentioned that to my wife tonight. Cup the hands, Les. Cup the hands.

Beautiful game, though.

Thought we wouldve sold those outdated planes to Isreal by now

We have... and they're 144-0 so far in air-to-air combat.

An Israeli pilot got the wing blown off of one, and he flew it home. Only after landing did he notice the wing wasn't just damaged, but completely gone. :pimp:

Outdated would be the F4-j phantom.

It's not a good memory. It's one of the plays, like in refgate(Auburn '06) that will go down as one of the worst calls in LSU history. BIG TIME PISS OFF MOMENT. So far, only Rece Davis has said that play was controversial.

ESPN is killing me

I was there for that one.

The guys around us were bitching about fireworks in a dome... but made no mention of LSU using them in a MUCH smaller dome not too long before.

Hands down have got to say the re-opening of the Dome... 9/25/2006

Probably one that is the greatest of any team, any sport, ever.

The re-opening was big, and I got emotional. The sack on Vick and the subsequent punt block had me crying like a girl though.

For me, the Hartley FG was the more thrilling moment

As a conditioned Saints fan, I was fully expecting him to miss... and it went straight down the fricking middle.

I still think the pick 6 was bigger though. Maybe because I told dozens of people that the Saints would win with a pick 6 for the 2 weeks leading up to the SB.

Imagine this, Auburn could end up undefeated but unable to play in the post season and could therefore, for a third time (1994, 2004, 2010), have the best team in the country and not a single Championship to show for it.

AND anchor it. Nice.

What about the "grivalda" thread on the poli board requires anchoring?

Then we kick the FG and its a win anyway. You're not one of those fricks that thinks it was a dangerous play, do you?

I know Peterson is faster than Cam, but Cam beat him to the endzone. Just saying.

When you both start on the 20 or so, but one has to run an extra 15 extra yards to get to the same spot, WTF do you think is going to happen?
quote:

I agree. It was an exciting as hell outcome, but I think running to the middle and kicking the FG is the proper call.

wrong. you take two chances at a score, not one.
