If I only knew what? I've had pluckers, wingstop, Buffalo WW and hooters. I dont like those tiny things all sauced up. I really do enjoy the jazzy wings. Its like 10.00 and I cant finish the plate and the wings are frickin huge

Pluckers wings are not small and should not be a part of your list.

there is one on sherwood, i eat there once in awhile, not as good as pluckers (all though nothing is) but it's probably my #2 in BR.

no way he likes the way they "taste". If you touch the sauce and lick your finger, you burn for 10 minutes. It's not a flavor.

I disagree, the fire in the hole wings have a great flavor, unlike most places very hot wings.

I am not saying these are the best, but last time I went to brightside bar and grill they had some very very good crawfish. Much more seasoned and spicier than Sammys.

Tonys is probably up there as well.

Slow Roasted Duck Po Boy from Jaq-imos. Heard a lot of people talking about it. i thought it was underwhelming. Ive had better seasoned duck from Zeas

Agree, I think it was actually turkey instead of duck. I had high hopes for this and was let down.

Louisiana Crawfish and Goat Cheese Crepe from Muriels- liked it a lot, creamy and very tasteful.

I really enjoyed this too

Creole Crawfish Sausage Po Boy from Vaucresson- may have been my favorite. Bread was solid, and the sausage was on point

This was very good too,

This is funny that we pretty much had the exact same stuff.

I also tried the crawfish bread from the mint that was excellent as well.

Had a co worker from that area of Maryland and he swore that his steamed crabs would destroy boiled crabs Louisiana style. So we had a crab off and had the entire company PLUS his family was in town from Maryland. Overwhelming consensus (including much of his family) was that the Louisiana style boiled crabs were much better.

Of course his crabs may not have been then best sample but he claims to have placed 3rd in a large crab festival when he lived there.

I plan to sell mine in Lake Beau Pre soon. Very nice gated townhouse complex on river road. It is not walkable to campus but is very safe and very nice. At the corner of river road and brightside, straight shot down river road to campus ~ 2 miles.

I'm not from Houston but I eat at Tonys at least 4x a year while i'm there on business. It is about as good as it gets in houston.

If you get a chance, John's Pizza on 44th b/t Broadway and 8th. It's in an old church, and the atmosphere is fun. Food's pretty good, pizza included.

Ate here and it was awesome
Agree biggest problem with Sammys is the wait. F that too many places to wait.
