So you're saying we hired a coach who wasn't good enough for Syracuse? shite man hiring a coordinator as a first time head coach would have been a better hire.

That AD fired our old HC and hired Dino Babers and then left to become Minnesota's AD. It stands as the *only* thing he did right.

Can any of the refs that O brings to practice play defensive line?

Didn't you hear? O is not responsible for our team's performance.

I'm not sure what to make of the fact that a sizable contingent of posters here seem to think its a defense of Orgeron to claim that he basically has no more impact on the outcome of this season than random message board posters do.

Wouldn't this mean that he'd come out with a vengeance against EVERY TEAM IN THE COUNTRY, given only LSU seemed to want him as a HC?

No, not for that reason, but I expect him to come out with vengeance to erase, or try to, last week's performance.

Orgeron doesn't talk like them. Easy choice for their AD.

According to y'all, he isn't responsible for things like how well the offense or defense plays.

We all know Orgeron very publicly expressed interest in the Syracuse HC job in 2015. Syracuse, coming off 3-9 and 4-8 seasons, didn’t even think highly enough of Orgeron’s coaching acumen to give him an interview.

Does Orgeron coach with a little something extra tomorrow? A little more Tabasco in the gumbo if you will.

You mean does he get mad because syracuse was right?

Well he was like our 3rd (that we know of) choice. So maybe his ire is actually focused on us. That's the only explanation there is to lose by 30 to moo u.

Syracuse wouldn't even consider a guy that LSU thought was a viable head coach. Thats just god damn sad.

Srsly, why in the hell wasn't that a better option?? Because O had prior head coaching experience?

Apparently, according to Alleva:

Prior coaching experience resulting in one of the worst coaching tenures in the schools history >>>>>>>>>>>>> no coaching experience.

Imagine Syracuse did not think he was good enough to warrant serious consideration. And we made him head coach without a serious search.
