So did Spurrier and by the way so did Bill Arnsparger at LSU. And he was probably the 4 most successful coach in LSU history. Recruiting is over-rated.

The same was said about Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer when they were hired. When Meyer was hired, our program was at its peak, so he won more than he lost but absolutely did not destroy us.
In the 1990s Spurrier destroyed us.

Do not think Jimbo is a good coach, but in 8 seasons he has never lost less than 9 and he has won 3 SEC titles and a NC.
In 8 years, I certainly hope we are not saddled with an AD that offered a contract with a $12 million buyout for a coach that went 3-21 in our division before being hired by LSU.
Oh if Eaux coaches 8 season, more than one might be a losing season.

A 5-star WR who was unsure of getting drafted in the higher rounds left for the NFL early.
5-star all American defensive lineman was out of the program for at least 6 months and returned with absolutely no desire to play with the level of intensity he used to. This happened under his watch.
Defensive line is as thin as it has ever been. To add to that a defensive lineman is indefinitely suspended for reasons that seem very suspicious as best.
O is RUNNING OUT Miles' recruits who are starters so that he can make place of his own true freshmen. THAT is why we have a rebuild issue.

I hope you are not considering the Louisville win. That was after a season in Miles had laid down the battle plan, hired the coaches and recruited the players.
Imagine Syracuse did not think he was good enough to warrant serious consideration. And we made him head coach without a serious search.
Would the triple option be successful in the SEC.

Given our continuous problem at recruiting a developing a QB, we could move to the Georgia Tech triple option. Would this work in the SEC.
