Does "Neck" just refer to any song that crowd shouts STTDB to now?

I see all these threads and posts everywhere about "Neck" at the NCG. I was there, but couldn't hear the band as I was above them in the uppers. Every video I've seen from the game has the band playing the other song that was adopted by the students to shout STTDB to this year.
Is "Neck" just any song now that the band plays and "STTDB" is shouted? I'm trying to keep up...

Only way to keep the students from chanting STTDB is just to stop the band from playing at all.
Even then, you'll probably still get a self-started "ooooooohhhhh, ohhhhhhh, STTDB" acapella.
The swag is back. And STTDB is likely here to stay.

Yes. The song they did "STTDB" to was Say Amen (It's Saturday Night) by Panic at the Disco.
Which by the way the band started to phase out towards the end of the season since students started the STTDB chant to it. They brought it back for the NC game and you saw what happened.
So I personally wouldn't be surprised if it joined the banned song list next season.

Pretty soon all Tiger Band will be allowed to play is Malagueña or show tunes. I hate it for them. Every time they introduce a new song to get the crowd into the game (I love their version of Right Above It), the students start with STTDB and the song gets banned.

Basically
It’s been so long since the band played it I’m not sure some people even know which song is actually neck
There’s been so many posts with people convinced they played neck because they were sitting right next to the band
They didn’t place it once this year and probably won’t again for some time

It also didn’t help that some guy took a clip of the band at the Bama game this year and edited it to make it look like they were playing neck

At first, I thought that's exactly what they had done. I couldn't hear the band but I could hear the singing/chanting.

Finally I get some help in convincing people here that we didn't play Neck. My kid is in drumline and I knew for a fact that they never even practiced it. The administration, whether it be LSU or the SEC has banned the song. But yes, as discussed in this thread, the students are going to start the chant for every song they get a chance to. It's unfortunate and there's no way they can stop the Tiger Band from playing, neither can anyone stop the students and fans from doing the chant to whatever song they want to. I agree Neck is a movement!

I heard STTDB on TV Monday night. I think I heard the band playing "Neck" just before.
