Does LSU have tarp to cover the field to hold off the rain?

Yes. LSU does have a tarp to cover the field before the game.

You really have to ask if the multi-million dollar business that is LSU football, has a tarp to cover the field?

I seem to recall them installing drainage pumps when the new surface was done. that field drains like a white water chute.

I’m sure they will cover the field but considering how dry it has been the last couple months in BR when the rain stops the ground will soak up that water no time.

I went on a stadium tour the other day. That tarp is actually to premote growth for the type of grass they laid down because it starts to die off this time of year. They mixed in some other seed to provide new growth as well.

Perhaps, but they still have a tarp
(or at least they did...I remember them even using it on the baseball field's outfield area once to supplement the infield's tarp during a particularly long stretch of rainy weather at one point).Posted on 11/3/22 at 3:13 pm to Arena30
