Does LSU get in if this happens?

Lose a one score game to Tennessee

Does that get us in? I would say yes. After beating Alabama and Texas I think we would be around 5-6
Losing to Tennessee puts us at 10-12
However

I don’t think we get in. Losing to bama puts us at like 18-19 and then beating Texas and Tennessee I think only raises us to 12-13
I think Bama is a must win if we are saying we go 2-3 over the next 3 games

It depends on what everyone else does
Does ND lose to Miami? They are out
Does UK lose to Tenn?
Does Ole Miss lose to UGA? Are we behind OM in rankings?
That would probably put the SEC order as:
UGA, Bama, Tenn, UK, LSU/OM
Getting 5 teams in would be tough, Wed probably need more people to lose (à la 2007)
To be fair current odds to make the CFP:
UGA -4000
Bama -340
LSU -210
OM -185
Tex -130
UK +145
Tenn +250
*so they expect Bama or LSU to get in at 9-3

Given the carnage all over the year (and still coming) I think the chances of us getting in at 9-3 are pretty good. Assuming not a blowout loss.
I think I saw some projections in the 50-60% range w 9-3.
We're 99.99% at 10-2 obviously

Agreed and I kinda think they will, even wo Toney.
I have not been impressed with the ND games I've watched. I sprinkled a little on the Miami moneyline after the line moved post injury.

If Bama can be ranked #5 after getting pounded by Tennessee, you would think we could make the playoffs if we lose a close one. But I don’t trust the committee at all.

Only way 9-3 bama doesn't get in is if we beat them by at least 10 or they lose to Auburn, that's what 5 ranking does for them.

A three loss team will need some 2007 stuff to happen in order to get in.
