I think there is a consensus that LSU muddied up the waters of Ole Piss during their incredible run at the playoffs.
Unfortunately, that is fair game given the rules to abide by. One could argue the viewpoint of ethics but hey this is big money and big boy college football. If it's legal it's ok.

I've often laughed at posters on here over the years who say "they're out to get us."
I've just seen it too much lately. In Wade's last year here, 10 minutes into every game we'd have 8 fouls to our opponents 2. Also, Gay Bilas, Prick Vitale, etc... just CONSTANTLY BURYING Wade over his misdeeds, while completely ignoring Duke, Pitino, Calapari, because they're "in the club".
National papers/writers are CRUCIFYING us over the Kiffin situation, and I know that's because they're scared of what's coming over the next decade. It doesn't mean it isn't happening, however.

Some media personalities will always look down on LSU because of Louisiana. LSU is allowed to be elite in football but never to be taken too seriously and treated like an adult in the room. Only allowed to have retarded caricatures like Les and O for head coaches, not self-serious types that want to win, like Lane and (we thought lol rip) Kelly. And certainly not allowed to steal coaches from mighty Notre Dame, even if that turned out to be a blessing for ND.

This. Now scale that up to the entire institution and you have the whole dynamic in a nutshell. LSU and Louisiana aren't allowed to take themselves seriously and try to be better, only allowed to be wild party animals and retarded caricatures who make for great stories but can't get their heads out of their asses.

I live out of state and travel every week so have the chance to talk sports in all regions of the country. Most I hear is “love LSU, but hate your coach (Kelly) and don’t want to see him win the big one.

there is a lot of people who are tired of the espn "SEC" bias. they only care about the big 12 because they need content. the interview of lane kiffen during the houston drive was disgusting. they pretty much blew off the game to do the interview.
