topic is laughable.... Dale Brown 2.0 won't sniff a championship.

These schools get the best players in the country. It's hard to compete that.

No, but this isn't a put down of coach.
I don't think any coach can come in here and win one for a while. 10 years? Maybe.

You have to first get into the NCAA tournament. I think he'll get us there in time. Once in, any hot team can make a run.

I won't hold my breath waiting but its not as far fetched as some might believe.

Butler was a buzzer beater away from winning the whole thing a couple of years. I just have to believe that if Butler can get in that position then LSU has the potential to do the same one day.

nope. Not necessarily because jj's not great (although I happen to think he's not so great of a coach) but because it is very hard to do no matter how good you are. In basketball I think its harder than even football.

If LSU football can't win in 4-5 years, basketball will not be winning one.

Unlike you, I don't live on this website, so go look for the link yourself.

You know as well as I do that people last year were pimping this year's team up.

He will have to have a point guard and big man that will dominant and some wings that can score. He can recruit but can he bring them in at the same time in a span of 2 years back to back is the key

If we start landing role players from NYC, Washington, Chicago, Detroit and Southern California. One day a championship could happen.

Arkansas and Florida are only two schools in last 33 years to win championships in this part of the country.

Extremely difficult for a football school to win a basketball crown.

Off the top of my head, only three football schools have done it in the last 30 years.

With the way things are going in basketball, a better question would be can we win the SEC in three to four years?
