Let’s see how their schedule plays out

They still have BYU, UT, OU and TCU

Not sure a guy that has one winning season of 7-5 deserves a LSU gig

He would be a huge upgrade on defense! Communication issues would be quickly resolved. Ability to perform in other areas such as motivation, PR, organization are unknown.

Dave Aranda has beaten only 1 ranked team in 2 seasons. He may be eaten alive in the SEC

that says all you need to know about him as far as i am concerned. if he didnt want to coach that last game he should have quit but instead decided to mail it in

Excuse me dipshit, what are you talking about? Aranda was our defensive coordinator who won LSU a natty, as his defense basically held Clemson/Dabo/Trevor Lawrence to only 8 points in the second half of the natty and we won 42-25

frick all of you morons that keep want Dave Aranda to be LSU next coach. The guy hasn’t proved himself as a head coach yet. He really hasn’t beat anybody worthy of being considered to be LSU next HC

He is the worst we will do, which is completely acceptable to me. Pair him with a great OC and I’d ride with Dave.

I'd take Aranda over Bill O'Brien

What now? The same game where his defense contributed to the team hoisting the national championship trophy?

That was his last game at LSU. He hardly 'quit' on the team.

Not sure who you have him confused with but you're not talking about Aranda.

Do you think Aranda has proven himself to be a HC in the SEC?

I think he would be an upgrade over O.

He has Baylor at 5-1 with a loss to a more talented team.

We know he would bring in defensive expertise and you'd expect our linebacker play to improve significantly.

He is worth interviewing. The program took an immediate nosedive after he left so that might tell you something.

Yes

He can lock down the recruiting, unlike in Texas

And he doesnt have to take anymore crap from Miles or Ogre

Hes back in the SEC

But has he proven himself sufficiently? He has MANY tough games ahead this year
