IMO I think a coach should have kept his political opinion to himself. It’s a polarizing issue. I didn’t see Saban or Dabo revealing their choice for president. It was a stupid thing to do. The fans may like it, but many of the players may not have. ...

You are correct. No way LSU fires any coach after 2 seasons for on the field performance. If there is an action that would fall under “with cause”, then he would be let go. I have been saying Alleva was a bad hire. He has a way of opening his mouth about a coach or sport in midseason which brings nothing positive to the situation. How did we get to this "what is the name of your school"? Let me give errbody a history lesson. Tulane is THE University of Louisiana. The university was founded as the Medical College of Louisiana in 1834 partly as a response to the fears of smallpox, yellow fever and cholera in the United States....
