They have the athleticism to be very good, but need to continue to build situational awareness, improve rebounding, improve 3-point shooting, and improve shooting efficiency close to the hoop. I don't have a lot of confidence this year, but hopefully this tournament experience builds on a much better year coming next year when we get more guard help. Yes, I know, NYU (next year u). But I am hopeful for next year.

If they get a favorable matchup as a 5 seed they can make the second weekend. Anything past that is a stretch though

What’s a “run?” Sweet 16? Elite 8? Final 4? I can see them making the Sweet 16, and that’s it (I also don’t think they’ll make it that far). They simply don’t have the offensive talent to win three in a row in my opinion.

I heard last week the NCAA told the refs to call it tighter in tourney they say it’s become too physical. Our guard play sucks and you need good guard play in tournament so no we probably won’t make a run.

Yes.
Sweet 16 this season
Elite 8 or final 4 next depending on who stays (Reid, Murray, Miller, etc.) and who he brings in. I still think they need an upper class man PG transfer.

Would need a lot of luck. Look at the record vs teams with a pulse.

I’m not feeling it but that’s why they play the games.

It depends on our guard play, it's really been up and down for the three guys, if Pinson and Murray play well we are tough to beat, when they don't we are mediocre.

Also days and Eason have to stay out of foul trouble.

Depends on matchups. Give us some defensive minded teams without great athleticism, and yeah we can win a few. Give us guard dominated offensively minded teams, and i doubt it

We will make a run as long as we don’t run into an SEC team. We were affective early in season because of our press defense . Teams during season have seen film on how to break it. I think we win out first weekend , we need to worry about second weekend opening game , that team will have a week to practice on breaking our press. My opinion, for what it’s worth

I don’t think it’s outside the realm of possibility that they could get to weekend 2…..would I bet on it? Hell no!

I don’t think anyone is denying that LSU commits more fouls. It’s the ratio of foul comparison to their opponent that is the issue. Example LSU leads the SEC with 22 fouls/ game the second highest is 14 fouls/ game. The differential is what people are questioning.

Gut feeling this team gets to final 8 or maybe final 4 with a little luck. If refs call game loosely they have punchers chance.
