Do we think this b-ball team can make a run?

I think the sec is very strong this year and I am pretty confident refs won’t decide games in the tourney.

With that said do we think this team is capable of a run? It’s been tough for us to rattle off win streaks at times.

Anything can happen, but if they cannot shoot above 55% then they are done. That has been their issue all year inconsistent shooting.

LSU flat-out commits a ton more fouls than their opponents every damn night. This MUH CHEATING REFS narrative needs to stop.

Yes depending on the matchups. Arkansas matches up to us very well that’s why we lost 3 games even though in reality the first two we should of won but choked at the end. Defense travels. And any team with only 2 scorers we should beat. Wade can eliminate 2 scorers a game. I think we get a 5-6 seed and make the sweet 16. After that is a crap shoot for any team

They don’t have the consistent scoring to make a run. That doesn’t mean that they can’t get hot. But it would take them massively outperforming their scoring from the entire season.

Depends on the team. We play a guard heavy team like Arkansas no. Any team who can stop Pinson from penetrating will beat us. Texas Tech is a very bad matchup.

Need to see our match ups first, I think we can make it to the round of 32 but after that I’m not to confident

No. Don't even bother watching. Just go straight to complaining about the baseball team

I've watched MANY NCAA tournaments over the years. ANYTHING can happen. 11 seeds make final 4's for goodness sake.

I know we play good enough defense to be in every game, and when you're in every game, you can win every game.

Don't forget alafreakingbama beat the great dynasty that is Gonzaga. It's called March Madness for a reason.

One last thing: assuming we're seeded properly for one of the few times ever, Fridays loss to the pigs probably bumped us to a 6 seed. This is PERFECT. We potentially get 11,3,2,then 1. This allows plenty of time for upsets to happen, where we could get gifted with an Iona or similar, who knock off the higher seeds for us. The kind of luck you need in March. I would prefer a 6 seed over a 4,5,7,8,or 9.

I am inclined to believe no. Depending on matchups, sweet 16 is achievable. I think we win the first, but lose to a 2-3 seed in the round of 32.

I was very hopeful that this would be the year to make the 8 which is all I really wanted.

I’ll still hope but I wouldn’t bet on that

You actually think it’s the refs that have decided our fate in the SEC? SMH.

They can win the first game if they are on their A game.
They can win the 2nd game if they are on their A game and the other team is playing horrible.
They can win the 3rd game if the other teams coach has Covid and their top 3 players are hurt and can't play.
They can win the 4th game...... you get the idea.

Bottom line..... probably 1 and done or 2 and que. Not sure which one but the way this team lacks a leader and fundamentals, I'm expecting a first or 2nd round loss.

Then you realize those teams are generally senior laden. LSU is not.
