I don’t know, he seemed out of line a lil bit. Seemed to cross the boundary there. I’ve never heard a commentator speak like that for 5 minutes straight. He never walked it back. I don’t know, “red dot” and all the language he was using seems against the non violence image trying to be established.
But that’s cool… can we all speak tongue in cheek now??

What a bunch of crap. The Bengals scored only 10 of their 41 points in the second half. They last scored on a touchdown with their first drive of the 4th quarter. On their last possession they ran the last 3 plus minutes off the clock. On second down with the ball on the Baltimore 4-yard line Burrow took a knee with 20 something seconds left. The Bengals had enough time to throw into the end zone 3 times if they wanted to get Joe another touchdown.

He said that they will intentionally tackle him holding his arms so his head will bounce off of the turf. Sounds like physical threat to me. Not to mention that head injuries are the number one concern for the nfl right now. I would just love to hear the public outcry from guys just like Bart, Keyshawn, and RC if Dan orlovsky goes on ESPN and makes these types of statements toward Lamar Jackson. There would be a public apology from the ESPN executives and Orlovsky would be banned for life from television.

Sadly , if the races were reversed,,, if a white former player or coach said the same about a Lamar Jackson… there would be a faux national outcry. Suspensions would be handed out and apologies given.
Come on, don’t play dumb

I don’t see how that guy can still have a job after some of the things he said.
I normally roll my eyes whenever I see this sentence but I watched it and I agree. He’s all up in his fragile feelings and is being an angry fan, not a commentator. And what his dumbass doesn’t realize is that he just made Joe more lethal. He will FEAST on this.

He’s black, he can say whatever he wants on that garbage network.

What a lunatic that dude is
It’s dumb because they Bengals didn’t even run up the score

It’s not racial, he’s just a former Ravens player who obviously loves the team and still hates the bengals. It was a terrible take and everyone was laughing at him. You are so ridiculous

Eh, he's just upset and ranting. No racial stuff thankfully (didn't watch the whole vid).
Also he may have just red dotted his own team by poking the Burreaux bear.

He 100% was. I’m the very first person to hate on ESPN and call out their weird woke bullshite but that was an ex-player and Ravens fan talking shite jokingly and mad about a loss. To insinuate that the guy needs to be fired over that or was actually threatening Burrow is ridiculous. This thread is soft

If a white commentator had said the exact same thing, he would have already been fired.
