Devin is doing his best Perkins impersonation right now. Third quarter and he has 7 tackles, 2 sacks, and just got a strip sack that Buccs recovered.

Devin is an animal, a different specimen from Perk. There are very few humans that are 245 lbs and run a low 4.4. With that said he’s nowhere near as quick as HP40.

Exactly. I think people already forget how fast White was. You can’t watch that and not see a thicker, more well rounded Perkins. Perkins may end up being better but as of now White is the GOAT LSU linebacker in my opinion.

White was fast and White was quick. He was nowhere near as quick as Perkins.
But White was monstrously big and strong.

Both have good closing speed and sure handed tacklers. Seems like they both know exactly when to launch when chasing down qb to make tackle.

shite, Perkins might run in the 4.3 area the way he was running down Hornsby

Perkins and DW are clones or twins separated at birth or something. They like exactly same on the field.

He ain’t 240 tho. That specimen DW was hoping to run a 4.3 range.

DW40 is a great LB but I didn’t see in any of those videos DW40 chasing down from behind how many folks HP40 has chased down this season as a freshman with his closing speed.

Wish we had a Devin white type patrolling the middle along with Perkins currently. Hoping the portal can bring a good one in to replace baskerville.
