You live in a fairytale world of candy canes and milk shakes. You are a bleeding heart liberal that has no grasp of reality only the world you dream up in your head.

So trying to come up with an alternate solution that leads to a better outcome than what we got is “liberal” got it.

Better outcome for the selfish person who killed and endangered person because he catches a leather ball. Sorry. I feel sorry for him and his family, but to whom much is given, much is expected.

Sounds like in his mind he had no reason to live.

You keep missing the part where he has to pay a substantial amount of his pro earnings to the family of the deceased, who now gets nothing.

I'm sorry for his family and there's no reason to throw salt into the wound but Kyren doesn't sound like he was a good person.

No sane person celebrates by fricking pretend blasting someone in the back of the head with a gun but of course you can't say that here because it's "just a celebration." Anyone with a brain can tell he had some issues.

His actions are the mark of someone who has never faced consequences for his shitty decision making. It is sad that it ended like this for him. Just a completely immature person and I hope his family and Herman Hall's family find peace

Our young people are in serious trouble mentally. It’s past time to start taking better care of them. The messaging they’re being fed is all wrong and it’s incredibly destructive. This young man had problems that were obviously ignored because of talent. Thats disgusting

Most adults would crumble under the pressure from the situation and all the outside commentary. We most often do not deserve the entire world’s criticism when facing our low points in life

These sort of comments have been pure insanity on here recently. Unreal. No shite there will be outside commentary for an adult who kills an innocent 3rd party by being a fricking idiot on the road and then goes on to kill himself in a high speed chase that could have killed others. My god.

I'm willing to bet most adults would have at least a sense of discipline and understanding of their actions. This cat didn't. Tough shite that he played at LSU, doesn't make him some martyr or good person.

You and Tammany keep talking like that’s a possibility… then tell me I’m living in a fantasy world. There’s no such thing as “justice” in this life.

So let me get this straight people with means should be able to do whatever they feel like, as long as they have the means to compensate the victims of their actions.

Great message to youngsters

Here’s a wild thought so bear with me…

Maybe the family of the guy that died want justice and not a check from Lacy

I'm sorry but killing someone then driving away without alerting first responders is shitty by itself

I’d ease up on judgement on this part honestly. Facts of the case will never come out, but these seem pretty harsh judgement given in all probability he never knew it happened.

It was called a hit and run, but he didn’t directly hit someone. He just made the circumstances of it with reckless driving. The accident happened behind him. He might never have been aware of it.

Not saying he’s a guiltless lamb, but the above seems a little too hyperbolic.

And I held this before the accident. It’s not softening it because he’s dead.

People who are lucid enough to understand this, don’t commit suicide.

Not nesscessarily true. He had issues. Trying to glob all suicides together in a pile as some kind of monolithic “type” is evidence of a closed minded and prejudicial individual. Hell, some people’s rationale for use it is in a surfeit of empathy. They feel so much a useless burden others would be better off without them.

Suicidal reasons, and the path to there, are as individual as the person.

Depression is a terrible curse to deal with. Even moreso when it's a young person dealing with it. The more I read about this it's clear to me that's what he was going through. Probably for years.

Yea man he seemed so clinically depressed while he was being a complete clown on the football field, being a successful college athlete who had the ability to consistently make it to practices/workouts and work his way into the starting lineup of an SEC football program, and incubate a successful post-college career as an amateur drag racer. You don’t have a clue of what you’re talking about and he showed basically no signs of actual depression.

He seemed like a grade-A culcha appreciator and did a bunch of dumb shite starting the second he was at LSU. We never should’ve taken him from ULL

What does your religion have to do with absolutely anything? I’m sure the family is so appreciative of your thoughts and positive vibes sent
