CEO best trait is his ability to read people.

I trust him to decide if this kid could help LSU win games or not.

orgeron will do whatever it takes to play the QB that gives him and the team the best chance to win games and titles. This is a business. loyalty be damned. that is just how it is. big time universities are always looking to upgrade. That is why we brought in burrow!

Absolutley. I feel the same way about the kids that skip the non-playoff bowl games. All of this is a business and I don't feel that they owe LSU anything at that point. Both parties have benefitted from their play. It's a business decision.

I don't see the problem with bringing in King.

He's a good QB and can add competition to a young QB room.

And everyone keeps talking about "oh he left his team" but nobody has brought up that Holgerson was constantly saying that they sucked and he couldn't coach them. I wouldn't stay for a coach that said that shite publicly either.

Everyone wants to stick with Brennan, and I truly hope he is a good QB. But what if he isn't? and we go into next season with a sophomore who has had 0 playtime, and Brennan who we don't know is good or not? Why not bring in a known good QB, redshirt one of the freshmen, and let Brennan, King, and Parrish go at it in practice?

Bringing him doesn't hurt anyone, and can potentially help the team.

Brennan is much like Burrow before Joe transferred.

A scholarship? LSU has two qb recruits this year already. More needs to be met else where.

O literally said he wants to look and see if there's any transfers we can bring in.

We have two recruits but what are they gonna do? They are freshman and are probably gonna be the 3rd and 4th string. If we have a spot open, bring King in 100%.

He might have been talking about Justin Rogers when he said this.

Lol Lester who hasn’t watched Clemson the last 2 years?

He’s a decent runner ala burrow but definitely not a “threat” like hurts or fields

He's more athletic, but not as tough of a runner. He doesn't finish runs like Joe. He's more of a Ryan Tannehill type.

Yea let’s turn down a guy that can be a Heisman contender for Myles Brennan

Myles Brennan can be a Heisman contender, too. He has as much chance making it to New York as King.

What exactly are you arguing?

You just told me he wasn’t a multi threat QB, which he is

I never said he was Jalen hurts

But The dude has 500 ruYds and 7 TDS. He’s a really good running threat

I'm warming up to the D'Eriq King notion. He's very inaccurate and erratic, but he's electric. I'm sure he would improve his accuracy when he got here. I'd really like to see Myles Brennan be the guy but, if the staff is still unsure of him, I see no problem with bringing in competition. If Brennan becomes the guy, King could still be of value with certain packages installed and a solid, experienced backup option if Brennan performs poorly or gets hurt.

I have no problem with Deriq King at LSU. I’ve watched the guy all 4 yrs of high school and all his years of college. Deriq is a baller and very competitive. I say bring him in because for one, I’m not confident in Myles Brennan
