No High School coaches just moving to the College rank or Position coaches moving to DC. This was a mistake by BK.

This whole fricking thread is a colossal mistake. When I wake up tomorrow morning I will give you a call to tell what to do that day. You seem to have all the answers. So what division 1 program are you the head coach and whats your current record?

My answer for you is to switch your aligence to whomever is undefeated at any given time. That would make feel as perfect as you think you are.

I have no reason to believe this after what happened with the Brian Polian situation.

You mean when Polian was relieved of his ST duties after his first season here when the ST was terrible?

Yeah, no reason to believe BK would make necessary changes.

Some of you guys can't think your way out of a wet sock.

I approve of this message.

Also, USC bit the bullet already. Follow suit, rich Tigers.

This is nuts. Look, Kelly my be a lot of things but stupid he isn’t. He fired Pullian and it seriously hurt us with recruiting and the portal. He will be very careful about letting anyone go if we get 9 wins and a significant bowl. Any decisions to fire a coordinator will not be based on fans opinions.

If your argument to keep a coordinator is recruiting based:

1. You are looking at things very short sighted
2. That speaks volumes to the actual coaching ability of said coordinator

To be a successful coordinator in the SEC, you need to be superb at recruiting AND coaching, there are guys out there that can do that if House can’t.

This is totally stupid.

House will be back. Last year with serviceable talent he had a respectable defense. They missed miserably in the portal this year, and have had significant attrition to potential starters this year.

The question must be asked, why is Weeks not on the field, and why has Toviano not seen the field until last night? Is this a Matt House decision or a Brian Kelly decision?

As a DC I would think he would want the best player on the field. Is Kelly trying to Redshirt them or play older guys? That question needs to be answered.

Kelly talked to Golding two years ago. Seems like he would at least be on the list.

He looks like the freaky "cleaner" that people call when they need a crime scene cleaned up.

Clark Lea seems like a logical choice. Vandy doesn’t have high expectations, but 3 years of awfulness and seeing how disadvantaged they are, could see him moving on. He is an alumnus of Vandy, but after another 2-10 season looming, he may want a change of scenery and get back to being a coordinator.

Aranda is a long shot, I think he survives this season.

Not sure how this will be received here but Pete Golding would not be a bad hire here.

No way do I want Will Muschamp. I would take Dave Aranda back if he is not retained as Head Coach of Baylor. Jim Leonhard is looking for his opportunity as a Head Coach and a few successful seasons as our DC could do that if he doesn't find one this offseason.

Not only will it not be a bad hire, I think he should be near the top of the list.

I loved Arranda, but he didnt like to recruit either. We need a good recruiter to go along with the DC title.

No, I am referring to not letting him go in the middle of the season, which should have happened but did not.

Leonard or Scalley
then Aranda

Any of the three would have to be a gigantic improvement and a return to playing our usual badass LSU defense.
