I saw some anecdotal stuff about him being an entitled shithead in high school

Here lies the real problem. Everyone who had contact (coaches/administrators) with him from middle school through LSU was protecting him from the consequences of his actions.....all because he was a star athlete. These actions ended up NOT being in his best interest as he could have turned this pattern of poor choices into good choices. However, all of these coaches (LSU for sure) were more concerned about keeping him on the field than helping develop a good human being/citizen. It's almost like a "social promotion."

read the story. La'el and the woman had contact about the child possibly being his. After the woman was killed, her 10year old daughter mentioned Lael by name.

No... La’el was never a candidate for being the father... believe it or not it’s as simple as the detectives being at a lost ... wanting to do interviews with people she had prior relationships with... La’el just happen to be one ... not even when he was at LSU

I do not like the police practice of handcuffing people they are arresting if they show no signs of resistance. It’s humiliating, and it’s routinely done to perfectly innocent people. If they did not have a cage in their car I would understand it, because the officers are vulnerable with someone behind them.

I was surprised by that and it seems gratuitous to me. The police in this country need a severe attitude adjustment, and that's not a black-vs.-white thing.

That's probably the right thing to do. I have to imagine he's being advised by an attorney and agent that are smarter than people on this board. Innocent or guilty, get off of social media. It's going to be nothing but toxic hateful messages and he could break down one day and say something stupid on there that hurts his case.

People are looking a lot into him turning himself in. But I have to imagine that was advised as well. The incidents happened in Feb, March, and April. It wasnt reported to the police until late July. I'm not ready to condemn Guice yet.

You dumb frick. He beat a women and humiliated her. But don’t handcuff him cause it’s humiliating. Good. Now he gets to spend the night in jail. And join the ranks of the unemployed. Maybe he’ll join a black protest and show who he really is
