Unless Daniels is hurt this is crazy.

Buts it's not crazy, because anyone with eyes can see Daniels isn't improving and the opponents are improving.

A guy with 30+ starts needs more reps? You must be joking...

Daniels is who he is and his reps won't change that. Nuss could be more for us but he hasn't been given meaningful snaps.

But its not. A QB who couldnt match the Mercer or San Jose St. QB’s production is NOT the “best chance”. Its a joke people are saying this. It has to be a troll.

Do you know how basic logic and words work?

Something can be “the best” and also “terrible” at the same time.

Comparing to performances of QBs who aren’t on the team tells us nothing about our best option at QB, only that the option we chose is terrible.

Yes and that doesn't apply here cowboy.

So the LSU passing offense is less productive than San Jose St. And Mercer against the same team in the same stadium and that means nothing?

Always shifting the goal posts to rationalize garbage offense.

How many games has Nussmeier been allowed to start?

He played the entire game against Arkansas. He’s not the guy he won’t be the guy thisnyear and I’m Not sure he’ll ever be the guy.

If Daniels is hurt and can’t run bring in the backup but if he’s 100% he gives us our best chance to win.

Shadup. We have constantly been educated that its all Boutte's fault. Daniels is our leader.

LOL Myles Brennan would have had 300yds and multiple TDs against that defense. Running off Brennan before he got a chance to even take one snap killed any real chance this year.

He should have started against FSU and told in clear terms he had a short leash if he couldn't handle the pass rush.

Let me help you out since you obviously don’t understand.

Fred Payton, Chevan Cordeiro, Sean Clifford, and Brady Cook cannot start for LSU.

Jayden Daniels and Garrett Nussmeier can. Daniels was bad. Nussmeier was even worse.

I literally called the offense terrible you fricking imbecile.

Hilarious to pump up a quitter who hasn’t played in two years to run down a guy busting his arse for the team.

If our receivers dont drop 6-7 catch-able balls, his stat line would read much differently.
I think the biggest concern is how on our first 4 or 5 positive yardage plays, all or all but 1 were nullified due to penalties. Those were just drive killers, and directly contributed to the swing of a fresh set of downs, to third and longs, or immediate punts.
Penalties killed us last might, although in the second half Auburn did us the favor of committing plenty of their own.

And Nuss was a disaster vs Southern.

The numbers here lie. I've never seen it tracked in college, but I would love to see the average time in the pocket per play. I have never in my life, seen a QB given so much time against 4/5 man rushes, and do absolutely nothing with it. Those other QBs obviously did not have that same luxury.

I knew he was bad, but I had seen really good improvement until this game. I saw him reading past the first WR vs MsSt, and that was just gone.

You just going to conveniently leave off the 59 yards rushing 1 TD and 0 turnovers? Some of you people on here are such fricks I swear. There’s always some assholes on here that think they know everything and try to talk up the backup QB situation. Bitch it was a big team win and Daniels didn’t do anything to lose us the game. He was out there on 1 fricking leg fighting.

Nuss fricking sucks. I was prepared to eat crow last night if he went in and lit it up but he didn’t. He’s not good.

Actually AU did a pretty good job putting controlled pressure. Their ends rushed outside, stopped and then went inside which collapsed the pocket when Daniels stepped up. Their middle line maintained their zones and also prevented many runs by Daniels.

Especially in the first half, they did a real good job of limiting his scrambling.

All in all they did their part in disrupting our passing offense.

Yes, there were a couple where he had lots of time, but those were the exception not the rule.

I don’t understand the Nuss bashing after the kid playing pieces of 3 games . Every game looked better . He can’t catch the ball for the receivers only throw it . I would start to give him playing time . He may end up being the starter if JD gets injured running around .

Is this the standard? A QB who does not lose the game?

Wow, that is a low bar, but ok.
