Maybe we watched different games.

And yet he had immaculate protection to drive the length of the field, right? I mean same game, same OLine? Do you think they just gelled in one qtr?

lulz

FSU went to a 3 man rush, and played deep to stop a quick score. JD used up the entire clock and 2 TOs by dinking and dunking, just to try and tie the game.

This is who he was at ASU, and what LSU will look like going forward, because you WILL NOT recruit elite WR talent in this offense. EVER

He did it again the second drive. Dellinger threw the football over his head on 3rd and Goal.

Did you watch the football game?

He had some but saying LOTS isn’t accurate.

I am not on the bandwagon of he is horrible. I do not think he had his first game. He was however playing for a new team in a new stadium. I sense he is not confidant with himself. I picked on this in multiple interviews with him I have watched. You know where he left he can never return to. The team dawged him when he left.
He does not seem to me as a comfortable leader that is not his natural personality . I do not think you have to be. He does seem like a good person. I agree.

The quitter and the guy who could have had two TDs if he didn't have the dropsies and then decided to pout about it? When did you talk to them?

Zero pics and zero fumbles

Over 70% completions with 2 huge drops by the “top” receiver.
99 yard drive under 2 mins with 100% completions ending with touchdown .

Over 200 yards passing

Oh
And it was his first start for new sec team

He can play

Daniels leads team on 3 td drives. Leads 2 other drives that shoulda been td’s but weren’t for reasons that aren’t his fault. Over 300 yards of total offense for him. Leads comeback that falls short for reasons that aren’t his fault.

The Rant; this running qb sucks put in the other guy.

Y’all seriously out here acting like Daniels running hurt the team. It makes no fricking sense. And they threw it a bunch. Maybe if the o-line plays better, they stay playing up-tempo, and #7 decides to catch the ball, offense should be fine.

Daniels did his job. Everyone around him failed.

I don’t know, drive us 75 or 80 yards a few times earlier in the game when the FSU defense wasn’t sitting back in prevent defense.

Yea he did it once in the first 3 quarters.

Do you people just make shite up? 2 of the first 3 possessions, he put them in position for td’s. Last 3 possessions, all td’s.

Since when does the qb have to lead scoring drives every possession to be considered to have had a good game? The guy did his job well enough to win. His teammates and coaches did not.

6 yards per attempt has got to get better. He's running at first pressure. He's a great athlete and accurate enouh, just lacks touch and patience. The team likes him well enough, I don't think the personality conflict is his. I think the players haven't bought in to the staff.

At least we play Southern this week. Hopefully some habits will get fixed across the board.

But I really want to see what Nuss can do with this receiving corps

When will you mouth breathers realize Daniels started because we have no line. He gave us the best chance to succeed. Can’t blame him for dropped punts and blocked kicks.

He did enough to win.

Gonna b cool to see Nuss throw 6 TDS against the mighty Southern Jags as the LSU fans go wild and say I told you so then see them curse him out when he’s sacked 5 times in a game while throwing 2 ints in a real football game behind this weak arse offensive line.. the BEST is yet to come.. hang on…

Daniels had a good couple of drives. He was not consistent Half our yardage came on the last two drives. He played well at the end.

LSU punted twice, but you would think Daniels couldn’t get anything going until the last minute. The truth is, Daniels played well. He was the best player we had, but he did in in a way certain people don’t like.

By the way, in college football you absolutely can win with a running qb.

LMAO...kinda hard to spread the ball around when the defense is all over you after the first read.

He only played well at the end, but somehow FSU only stopped him twice in the entire game? Yeah, that checks out.

It didn’t help that LSU’s defense couldn’t get off the field, and Nabers fumbled twice.

That’s what I saw too. Under pressure he tucks it and didn’t seem to looking downfield.

Rewatched the game today. The 2nd drive we could have a had a big play on the drive ending sack, Boutte(if he would have caught it) was coming out of his break and had A LOT of room to run. Someone should have recognized the rusher coming off the edge unblocked. Jayden/No one did anything there. Probably the biggest play left on the field other than special teams IMO.

Third drive he had a number of opportunities for chunk passing plays but committed to the run quickly. All the plays he had positive runs so it's hard to be to critical there. Overall he did a much better job of keeping his eyes downfield in the second half.

Second half he played really great IMO. There were a couple plays in the middle of the field which could have been bigger than the completions he took on the outside. You can see how he really progresses through his reads well & quickly when he has time. If he can take some of the throws instead of committing to the run when pressured he would be an upper echelon college QB. The only other thing I'm interested in seeing is seeing how well he can utilize the middle of the field in traffic. He seems to much prefer the outside hashes.

Would have really loved to see how our offense would have looked in OT. Oh well.

He definitely has that kind of talent, no question about that.

The Oline and special teams are the issue. This team is young, but Kelly is going to have a strong O line. It takes time for them to come together.

I actually look forward to see this team progress. I think between the Southern and New Mexico game, that will give them time to gel and will be a better team two weeks from now than they are today.

Everything is going to be fine.
