So we have a pitcher who has been battling arm soreness go home and throw while away from the LSU coaches/staff? Does that not seem odd? This isnt a RF who has soreness....this is a pitcher that has had more than one MRI show no 'injury' but we are letting him throw alone?

Thank you. The reason I asked is because he has a history of wording things in such a way that it can seem like there is more to the story than there really is.

At some point if the player’s only meetings ain't getting it done, Paul has to step in and chew some arse and make wholesale changes. He’s gotten too soft and complacent in his old age.

I was under the impression that with school out the 20 hour rule and day off didn’t apply.

But following a Thurs-Saturday series, the team usually takes Sunday off as the NCAA mandated one day off each week.
They usually practice on Monday to prepare for the mid-week game in those cases.

I'm not sure on the rule....I assume they can talk to the players but again I'm not 100% sure.
And the rest of your post is also accurate.....it just seems strange to frame it up that way considering we (at least I) haven't heard of him throwing since the last bit of uncomfort a couple of weeks ago.

Now that is something I missed....it makes more sense now in my mind. Still a little strange that they didn't at least talk to him but that could be holiday issues or logistical who knows?

I would also like more info on this. Some players are available to the media after Paul talks to them. But I don’t know if the whole team is there. He could be there but they simply haven’t spoken to him yet.

don't think it does. The football team begins fall practice before school resumes and they're still bound by those rules.
