Wednesday is not the all hands on deck day. The only way we see one of our two aces is if we have a one run lead in the 9th or something like that.

This is what I was thinking. Smells like 8

That will be Shores in this scenario. He only threw 11 pitches today.

The reason I don’t love our chances tmrw is most of the available pitchers have struggled to consistently throw strikes

Agreed that it’d be a nice time for Cowan to regain pre-A&M form

Wouldn’t mind burning Eyanson if it preserves Anderson and Evans for Championship series.

Hopefully we’ll get Thatcher Hurd and not Thatcher Turd. That guy was so inconsistent.

I’d lean Shores, but Jay said that he likes going slow>fast instead of the opposite.

Cowan scares me. If recent performance is any indicator, we could be down 6-0 before coming to the plate

I mean he's been a starter throughout his college career and had elite stuff. If he could keep the walks under control he certainly has the ability to silence Arky's bats. I wouldn't hate seeing him start.

If you see Eyanson, it's a save situation.

4 strong IP's. Get almost half the way home and then piece it together. We need some other pitcher to step up and eat some innings. Get the W and get some well-deserved rest.

Eyanson and Shores will still loom large in this game if we can keep it close and get the ball to them for the last 2-3 innings.

The only way we see Eyanson is to close it today in the 9th. If we started him it would potentially be forfeiting the finals. Of course we could throw our best on short rest, but our goal is a NC and you have to be coaching with that in mind.

I would guess eyanson starts Sunday if he closes today and we win. He would have around 50 to 55 pitches this week...then 3 days rest. It also depends on how we do game 1 against coastal...win and I could see them saving eyanson to a possible game 3

If we have a small lead in the eighth I’d bet on seeing Eyanson to close it. The only way that would not happen is if the pitcher on the mound was absolutely dealing.
