Absolutely awesome read. Well worth the time.

Should be required reading for all ranters before each season. Don't ever edit the OP. It's perfect.

I loved it. But hard to read.
Would be much better if you used bold or italics to differentiate the speakers.

I didnt think it was funny per say...we read this conversation every day in a thousand different threads.
I did find it to be thorough and very informative in terms of covering a point by point basis to make a solid all around argument. A nice reminder to those that want Les gone or think Decline or what have you.

Yes, that was long, but it also might be the best post in Rant history.

This was his 3000th post. Epic

That was written by the LSU Sports Information Sunshine Pumper Department. Funny stuff, but the notion that LSU couldn't find anybody "Better" than Miles, is ludicrous.
The "Culture" of Mediocrity Acceptance is a Fine Art in the Wacky World of the Pumper People.
"Hey Thelma Lou, did you wash my Purple & Gold Pom Poms in the cold, gentle cycle again today?"

Yet you act like it would be easy. Like many coaches have done what Miles has accomplished.

How clever. Logic really does go over your head.

definitely worth the read. I have had very similar (like scary similar) conversations with many people sticking up for our coach. It's crazy to think that our all time winningest coach is disapproved by so many fans.

I literally thought I'd never stop scrolling down on my phone.

Miles SEC record coming into this season was 52-20, over the same time period only Alabama is better at 54-18.
That's the problem. We're not the best, and we used to have Saban, the guy coaching the team who is the best according to that, so some people aren't going to be happy with Miles as long as that's true.

Read it. Laughed. Good post.

This was way too long though.

This is what I don't get. If he is the best, then we will never have the best as long as he's at bama. So why go get a coach that hasn't proven to beat the best, when we have one that actually has?

Apart from a few unnecessarily stressful moments, I really enjoy Les as a person as well as a coach.
I think some people would rather have a serious, conservative sourpuss even if maybe there wouldn't be more wins at the end of the day.
