Whether ND fans are right about BK or not, LSU fans are right about ND. ND is a good football school that will have good years like this every now and then. You still don’t have and will not get the players to win a championship without tons of help.
Tonight was probably the best chance ND will ever get to win a natty going against an 2 loss team. And what a surprise it didn’t happen.

Thank you for being one of the few reasonable people here. I disagree Freeman hasn't elevated ND because the results are better. And I guess no matter how many times I say Brian Kelly is a good coach and can win national championships at LSU I'll always be the bad guy. But that's okay. I enjoy the back and forth. We're all fans of the greatest sport there is.

He beat indiana, a 2 loss uga team without their starting qb, and a penn st team who hasnt won a big game in 15 years. If you want to crown him for that, then go ahead. Kelly beat those types of teams all the time at notre dame. Freeman is a good coach, but acting like he is a better coach than kelly based on what he has done with the ferrari kelly left him is asinine

Y’all aren’t winning another title in college football. There will always be a more physically talented team you run up against. Brian Kelly told you as much and y’all refused to listen. Posts like this are why I stick around. Kelly never beat top 10 teams all the time. His record against them was terrible. And I was at the Sugar Bowl. Stockton played well (20/32, 232 yds.) but ND's defense that game was on another level.
A Ferrari? The same 2021 team that beat no one and needed a last-second miracle to beat powerhouse Toledo? And... wasn't LSU better than ND the past two years?

Freeman took his assistant Denbrock PLUS ND MONEY AND RECRUITS FROM SAID MONEY and got to the same place as Kelly.
Kelly had to deal with loss of his 2 best defensive backs in 2023 which killed that team from being in the playoffs. LSU just didn’t have the NIL funds (8MM for 2024) to compete and it showed from the roster this past season.
Go fricking lose to Northern ILL frick off with this shite.

I'll confess that I just skimmed over most of this post, but just puzzled about why a Notre Dame would care about what LSU fans think.
I've never given much thought to Notre Dame. It doesn't matter to me who their coach is or that Brian Kelly used to coach there. I don't care if they win or lose any game. None of it reflects on LSU.
I have never read a Notre Dame message board or considered posting on one. The idea of a Notre Dame fan taking the time to post on this board is just very strange and entirely unnecessary. Just enjoy your team along with your fans, but your school, your fans and your coach have absolutely nothing to do with LSU.

You seem like one of the few good people here so I'll tell you. I guess I enjoy a good back and forth maybe a little too much. I came on here after reading all the inane stuff bashing Notre Dame's success under Marcus Freeman. I figured I could bring some in-context facts and reasoning here and have reasonable discussions about our great sport, but I was wrong. A lot of the posters here are just jerks. We've had more than a few opposing teams' fans hang out on the ND board I frequent and we enjoy their company. Not sure why so many here just come across as terrible people.
