Good for him I guess. I’m appreciative of what he did for LSU in 2019 but will never forgive him for letting the program fall apart after that. He’s a nice man though. When working for LSU years ago when Coach O was an assistant, I worked many recruitment events at the stadium before home games. All the coaches acted like they were too good to acknowledge me and my coworkers except for Coach O. Every single time he walked into the room, he’d shake my hand and tell me hello.

I’m glad he’s no longer anywhere near the program but that speaks volumes for who he is as a man.

Well I guess you didn't hit it hard enough, because now Ed's taking a turn.

What? No Joe, no beating Bama?
That team beat teams with more future NFL starting QBs than probably any other national champ in history. Beat the best Coaches in NCAA on the path to the Championship.
Orgeron made it look so easy, BK decided he could do it, before he retires.
Hell I watched a replay on all the games the other night.
It never gets old.
Geaux Tigers!
Congrats O, you earned it. Have a good life.

I saw Coach O about a year ago at Piccadilly on Essen Lane (late lunch time). Hardly anyone was in there. A few people recognized him and he obliged them by taking pictures or speaking to them for an extended period of time. I left him alone.

He was with a blonde. But not this one. A much younger one. Probably in her mid-30s. They drove off in a smaller 4-door Mercedes. She drove. It appears to the majority of us that he certainly has a type and there is nothing wrong with that. His life, his choices.

Unlike others, I'm not here to say anything negative about him. I actually thank him for bringing us the greatest season our program has ever had, and quite possibly, the greatest college football team ever assembled. It was unique. It was special. And it was memorable.

What he does in his personal life is his business and I wish him the best.

Money doesn't fix everything. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about, Coach O is probably no different in that regard. Be kind. Always.
