dude, our offense was inept the last two years...he was a bad fit in Crowton's offense.

Possibly true - but if it's for safetys sake , why would that decision be made now when there is still time to get NCAA ruling? Is the NCAA really that sense that theyvant make a ruling on a small issue?

Wow what a joke.

Shep was due for a break-out...he is obviously talented...and has the ability to get big yardage after a touch...not fair to judge him based on his first two years.

More than that, this could be another huge moral hit to the team. Shep is liked very much by the team and is a leader in the locker room.

How do you figure that? RS came in the number one DT QB out of high school and saw action at every position but QB. We watched him take a few snaps at RB, A few at WR, ... Positions he did not play in high school or had experience in and yet he made things happen. Spencer Ware has thrown a pass for LSU before Shep has. His first year on the team we had him trying to learn over three different positions and attend classes. Yet we never stuck with one or another with him. His Sop season he focused more on WR and now that he has had a full season of just trying to learn WR let's see where he is at before we talk about him being useless. Esp since GC is gone and someone is actually working with the QB's.

@RandyRosetta Randy Rosetta #LSU's Russell Shepard's suspension is due to talking to teammate about the NCAA inquiry and he may be out several games, according to LSU.
