Will Davis still the coach there? Wonder if he would steer him here?

He wasn't throwing 89 yesterday. You could tell he had some life in his fastball, but I bet it say mid 80s yesterday. Has he been used a lot this year? Pretty nice curve too, though he spun it a little too much. Good looking athlete for sure.

Actually, LSU isn’t even in Noil’s top three right now — that’s Southern California, Florida and Texas A&M. But in the digital age, recruiting rumors can run rampant.

2004 was the beginning of the end for ASH baseball.

The beginning of the end was when Bonial left Greg Smith on 1B and threw Mayer against DeRidder in the 2002 State Semifinal.
Keith Law didn't rank Williams in his top 50 draft eligible prospects. But has Ivan Wilson, out of Ruston, ranked 47, and Garrett Williams, out of Calvary, as an "other name to watch."

Where does Sims's go to school? That kid would be the biggest lock as long as Johnny is here.

One of the funniest people I've ever had the pleasure to be around. RIP Trigger.
Meche's was open on Guilbeau. Would have thought they were running king cakes half off by the crowd.

You know a member there? Heard it was pretty tough to get on.

What is your handicap? If it is above 13 or above and you never played it before, you probably are going to have to buy the beer. Wish you luck though.

My thoughts too. Especially if you're playing it down, i.e. not taking relief from the roots you are certainly to find. But it's worth the challenge, not much risk for you TH.
UClub tips is a different animal. Guys an idiot if he thinks it's 10 shots harder than that. But it's a tough golf course.
From the tips, it's 10 shots harder than any muni in Lafayette. Not LT or the Farm
Not sure if this has been touched on, but the yardages are a bit misleading. This course has significant sloping, so some of those holes will be play much shorter (some longer). Also, it will be really firm so the ball will run out a good bit.

He's with SBNation now, which is assembling some talent recently. Spencer Hall also writes for them.

I get what you're saying and maybe 3-4 a week was a little extreme. I have really enjoyed every Wright Thompson article I have read, it just feels like I only see one every few weeks. He may write more than that but I just don't realize it. I would even settle for once a week

Oh I wish he wrote more. It goes in spurts with him. He'll have a story a week some months, then disappear for 2-3 months.

I also like Bruce Arthur, when he's writing about sports I follow (not hockey).
