re: Confirmed: Russell Shepard suspended for Oregon game

I'm starting to really not like his show lately. Mainly for his opinions on this recent event.

From things I've heard Shep was due to shine big this year. Looks more confident in his role and more experienced in the system. Also it was not his fault his first two years were under a OC that never knew how to utilize him properly. Something Krag said he would do... The jury is still out on RS. You can't deny his abilities though, We've all seen flashes of what he can do... Hopefully a larger part of the puzzle goes a long way with him this year.

#LSU press release on WR Russell Shepard: "LSU will seek reinstatement for Shepard but he is expected to miss a number of games."

#LSU press release contd. "He can continue to practice with the team. No timeline has been determined for the reinstatement process."

Because lsu is saying "number of games"

Don't like that saying at all. A number of games, gee whiz. Jeff Landry just said as well it could be a number of games.

#LSU confirms Russell Shepard ineligible not because of housing issue but for conferring with a teammate prior to an NCAA meeting.

I have a feeling OBJ, Wright, and Turner will take care of business in his abscense.
