It’s really not close. LSU 2019 beat multiple ranked teams, and a top ranked Bama team at Bama, AND the biggest thing to me, LSU was never in a losing position that entire season, UGA was in losing position twice this year for sure, Ohio State could have made the FG and won the game: frick Georgia

Anybody with a right mind knows that 2022 Georgia is not on the same level as 2019 LSU.

2022 UGA isn't on the same level as 2021 UGA, let alone a historic overall team

2021 UGA is on the 2011 LSU/Bama level

Ohio State lost their opportunity to beat Georgia, in 2019 no team had that same opportunity on LSU

If it's not close (it's not) then why are you arguing about it? Anyone who is not a Georgia partisan can see the obvious, and anyone who is will not be convinced by your harangues.

2022 GA Oline is really good.....and their play-calling was outstanding.

TCU does not have the talent to match up against top teir SEC teams....

The best to combat the comparisons is to not talk about it. They arent worthy of a comparison. They beat TCU..

The fact that our fans keep finding the need to justify this is embarrassing

Agree. This year's Tigers threw for well over 500 yards on that Georgia secondary, 2019 would have done even more damage to that weak coverage.

LSU had better regular season wins, beat a better team in the SEC championship, and beat two better teams than either team UGA played in the playoffs this season with both being by multiple scores.

LSU never trailed in a 4th quarter all season that year.

They trailed for 12 minutes second half by 3 and 7 points over the course of the entire season.

UGA has that Oregon win and that’s it. They trailed an unranked Mizzou deep into the second half and only beat a crappy UK by 10.

Their best regular season win was against UTk who ended up with two losses and blasted by USCe.

They beat no team in the regular season with less than two losses.

UGA has a great team this year, but outside of the CFP final, they were not dominant for most of the second half of the season.

There is no "arguing about it". Just stating facts. LSU beat a perennial power (Clemson) in the Championship and GA beat a lucky to be there TCU. Of course there is no argument but facts are facts.

Never mind Burrow rarely played in Q4 in many of those games and LSU never once tried to run up the score. We didn't need to

Here is a good run down of what the 2019 LSU team did. Georgia's season is not even comparable.

Orgeron mercy kneeled on clemson also. we were running it down their throats and were about to score again plus dropped TD by chase. that is 14 more points we left off the board

I was at the Auburn game 2019 and that line was NFL legit. I believe both tackles and even a couple of depth guys are on NFL rosters now. That defense was really good.

On paper, LSU was the best In our minds LSU was the best. Who cares what anyone thinks. Wasn't it ESPN that called 2020 Alabama the best?

It’s a discussion that happens after the NC every year. Until 2019 every national champion was compared to 2001 Miami. That’s how you know you are truly one of the best teams of all time.

Flattering but not close. Georgia is a great team but that 2019 LSU was special. Just look at what they are doing now in the NFL.
