I follow, but if Florida jumps all over the non-Skenes starter, the last nine outs could be meaningless.
I just think starting Skenes gives LSU the best chance to flip momentum that will clearly be with Florida to start.

I’ll believe it when I see it when the game starts.
I’m ok with whatever decision CJJ and PS make. They’re going to give us the best chance to win the championship. I believe Skenes comes out the pen and pitches a few innings in a high leverage situation that he’s needed most.

This makes no since to me. The only reason to have him come out the bull pen is to preserve a lead however if Hurd falters and we fall behind it does no good to bring in Skenes. Play to win. If they get ahead against Skenes at least we gave it our best shot. Just my opinion.

Florida is going to have to be subjected to non-Skenes pitchers at some point. You can just as easily say they can jump on LSU at the end of the game and win that way.

That's not true. We could be behind a few runs and need him to stop the bleeding for 3 or 4 innings while we make our comeback.

Skenes is a freaking warrior and will want to be on the front line and want to start for all the marbles. He is gong to blast Florida back to the stone age.

Leah Vann reported Thatcher Hurd was starting and wearing Purple Jersey's...so you telling me the Thatcher Hurd news is BS and just a leak to try to fool the Gators? If thats true I'm all for it as a tactic...
