Same tournament except it benefits the Astros Foundation now. I would think the foundation still contributes to the Shriners hospitals

Your calculations don’t add up. Four Texas teams and two from Louisiana doesn’t make it a Texas versus Louisiana match

You don’t play conference teams before the conference schedule. The exception being the Governor’s Cup in Mississippi which has long history

So don’t attend and don’t watch. I’m certain the organizers are loosing sleep over your opinion.

Perfect example of posters with no ethics, yet they sit hiding behind a keyboard judging others. Those who live in glass houses…

I don’t know the man personally, so I can’t make that evaluation based on media and message board accounts.

You realize that Wes didn’t come here until year two.

Announced and hired are two different days. No one is privy to the date he accepted the job except for a very tight circle of friends. Therefore, the original post is not factual and it is plausible he accepted the job before Coach Johnson was hired.

ELIGIBILITY
To have a jersey retired at LSU, an athlete must have completed intercollegiate competition for LSU a minimum of five years prior to nomination. Athletes must have demonstrated truly unusual and outstanding accomplishments, exceeding and in addition to all criteria used for Hall of Fame selection. The athletic performance must be considered unique, such as winning of a Heisman Trophy or National Player of the Year award, and should be based on the total LSU career.

He probably makes more as a SEC assistant coach than most schools pay their head coach

He had no say in the matter short of resigning. I guess someone with your extraordinary moral character would quit because your superiors made a decision and instructed you to follow their orders

He’s a$10 per hour fast food clerk who thinks he knows more about sports than the coaches. He’s like that for every sport
