Cowherd is right and we can’t get upset with him for saying the truth. Y’all might think I’m crazy (which all of us are for watching the Tigahs/Saints), but the Tigahs need to hire Hugh Freeze ASAP. I thought I would never echo those words, but the man does more with less. That’s the sign of a great coach and everyone deserves a second chance as long as they admit to their mistakes and don’t repeat it. LSU did the Cardinal Sin that WVU did when Rich Rod left for Ann Arbor. They made Bill Stewart (Interim HC) their permanent HC and that turned out to be a massive disaster. Yes Edward had one magical season that none of us will ever see again in our lifetime and yes that season was fun to watch, but you can’t have your QB trying to make a throw without looking where he’s throwing. That one play will sum up this entire season and it happened to be the first game.

I agree Cowherd is right, but he’s just doing what he always does. I want Freeze as well.

Cowherd is an utter moron so when he’s spot on you know you’re in trouble.

The sad part is we were totally out coached…and still has a chance to win in the 4th quarter. That is how much talent we have on offense. With just a competent defense we would have won. UCLA scored on complete defensive breakdowns. Peetz and Max are idiots for not throwing to Boutte until his hands fall off but the defense is what really killed us.

He's right about the UCLA blocking.
Sometimes you have some reluctant admiration for the way an opponent plays -- that's how I felt about the UCLA Run Game.

Cowherd drops the truth bomb. I hope no players or player Daddies cry and take their ball home over that.

"It was neither a thrashing nor domination.

Their completions were big plays to a wide-open tight-end and garbage tackling against the running game.

There was nothing fancy or dominating about what they did -- in fact, it was very basic shite that a good team could shut down."

Wait, wait, wait. 7.3 yards per carry to 2.1 per carry? what is that? garbage tackling? On two UCLA TDs, the scorer was completely untouched, and on the 75 yard TF, the touch was 73 yards from the LOS.

It was basic shite, properly executed, by a band of 3-star linemen coached properly. Good technique, good scheme, brilliant play-calling, catching them off-balance, not set, not ready, with heads spinning. They got CHIPPED!

"Garbage tackling" to the tune of 216 rushing yards?

Pleaase.

Cowherd is a 1000% Trojan Homer, never up on UCLA, until he say for himself. And the blocking schemes are just that, and have been that solid

If you don't agree that that was an offensive coaching clinic, I'd recommend reading Helen Keller's biography again.
